Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about GovOps, how Arasakio works, and whether there’s a fit.

What is GovOps?

GovOps treats governance and operations as one discipline rather than two. It spans the design, roles, decision pathways, and accountability, and the execution that keeps it running: daily cadence, follow-through, and decision tracking. The goal is governance that actually runs, not a framework that sits on a shelf.

What’s the difference between GovOps Design and GovOps Execution?

Design is the architecture: roles, decision pathways, voting structures, accountability frameworks. Execution is everything that keeps it running day to day. Most firms deliver the design and leave. Arasakio does both.

Who do you typically work with?

Organizations at three moments: when governance is slow and consensus loops are costing them, when execution is breaking down because nobody owns it end to end, and when they need a partner who has built this before, not a deck.

Do you only work with DAOs?

No. The model applies to any organization running complex governance: foundations, scaling startups, corporate structures, and multi-stakeholder entities. The Sandbox DAO is where we proved it end to end, but it’s the proof, not the limit.

What does an engagement actually look like?

It depends on the need. GovOps Design runs six to twelve weeks. Execution mandates run six to twelve months and are renewable. Fractional COO engagements are a minimum of three months. Advisory is project-scoped.

What if someone else built our governance and it’s not working?

That’s a common entry point. Arasakio can take over operations on a system it didn’t design, diagnose where it’s breaking, and fix it in production.

How do I know if I have a GovOps problem?

If work sits without clear owners, decisions get made without next steps, or you can’t trace what happened to your last ten decisions, it’s not a framework problem. It’s an operational one.

What does Cyril bring that a general operations consultant doesn’t?

He’s done this end to end: design through wind-down, on a live system with a $10M annual budget. That’s a different conversation than someone advising from the sidelines. The operating discipline behind it comes from senior product and operations roles at Allianz and HSBC, so it holds at enterprise scale, not just in crypto.

How do we get started?

A thirty minute discovery call at arasak.io. The call determines whether there’s a fit before anything else.
